DGI has a proven track record having completed a multitude of exploration projects spanning weeks through to years in duration. DGI’s roots were established and developed in minerals exploration over a vast range of commodity types, depositional environments, and in virtually every imaginable terrain scenario. With a definitive physical rock properties dataset, clients have the opportunity to use the 2-4C process at an early stage to strengthen their understanding and take advantage of its predictive capabilities.
With a comprehensive suite of parameters, our clients have been able to:
- Maximize their drilling investment – i.e. getting the most information from each borehole
- Determine which physical rock properties have the greatest impact on understanding the geology at an early stage
- Integrate physical rock properties with geochemistry and assay results from their first drilling campaign onwards
- Use oriented digital core (televiewers) to great effect in their workflow for structural, rock mechanics and geotechnical information
- Constrain 3-D inversions, modeling and forward-modeling opportunities with physical rock properties statistical characterization
