McLain joined DGI in 2015 as a field technician and currently serves as US sales & business development representative. Before joining DGI, he was a Well Log Analyst with Schlumberger. He began his collegiate career as a music major. He was fortunate to travel around the country performing and soon discovered he enjoyed hiking up mountains more than practicing his tuba, and he switched his major to geology. He did get a wife out of music school though. They have two young children who enjoy blowing as hard as possible on their dad’s tuba and riding on his back hiking up mountains.
