Zach Pearse
Geoscientist

I am a 26-year-old geoscientist that graduated with a B.Sc in Honours Earth Sciences from Carleton University. I've been a member of the Data Processing & Interpretation team since January of 2021. My primary responsibilities include the quality control, processing, and interpretation of televiewer and physical rock property datasets. My interests lie within the environmental and geochemical disciplines of the industry; however, I have gained a lot of experience with geotechnical and resource-focused projects. I enjoy working at DGI because it allows me to interact with clients around the globe and develop unique experiences across a variety of projects.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching a variety of sports and attending concerts in the city. I have a passion for electronic music and I DJ as a hobby. I am a PADI licensed Advanced Open Water scuba diver and hope to complete my Dive Master certification in the future! I played varsity Water Polo throughout high school and university and continue to support our National team as the sport grows in Canada. I'm from Waterdown, ON and recently relocated to Etobicoke, ON to be closer to the office. I love traveling and have been to many countries in Europe and the Americas. Geology has been a passion for me since a very young age and I continue to use this to fuel my career in the industry.
